The Triskelion Symbol is based on the use of the triskele in Celtic Ireland. Each of its swirls represents the cycle of birth, life and finally death. As this cycle is often connected to the maiden, mother and crone it is also connected to the Goddess in her transitioning between these cycles. It is an image of ethereal energy radiating outwards (or inwards depending on your outlook and needs at the time). It is a symbol of the expansion of the consciousness that we are all connected to (whether we are aware of it or not). Some people believe that the triskelion represents the spiritual path to enlightenment, and I personally find this is how I resonate with it. Again, it is a great piece of jewelry that you can charm to protect you or open your mind up to enlightenment.
